BRITISH ENFIELD .303. For Sale.(again!)


One mag full of ammo. See photos. I am not sure about age or condition. Looks OK for the age and type of rifle, but there are two holes in reciever for scope mount. As you can tell from the markings you have a #4 mk 1* that someone tried to make look like a #5 (carbine version). The holes don't belong though. Someone tried to mount a scope mount. It shouldn't affect the function of the rifle. Were I not flat out of spending money at the moment I'd take it off your hands. It might make a decent truck rifle. They're great guns but mounting a scope is difficult. Better to stick to the irons. This would make a fine starting deer rifle for someone...

Thanks for the input. I didn't think the holes belonged there and the action works fine.
That is why I joined the group...I don't think there is a question that can't be answered by someone on here.
