The 1911, due to the design of it's grip, is sometimes uncomfortable to carry IWB esspecially if you're not a skinny fellow. The "bobtail" removes one of these points.

I know, I know, but the $80 in gas and 9 hour round trip drive time is too much at the moment. I don't think I could find the time right now just to make the trip. with that said, you willing to meet a little closer to me than NO???
