How about we substitute the pay of congressman , senators , judges and every other political members pay to pay our soldiers . At least we get our moneys worth for their services .

I believe I read in another article that if there is in fact a federal government shutdown, all federal politicians (supreme court justices, president, vice president, etc.) will fall under the pay freeze too. I believe senators and house reps are paid by the states they represent.
