Dan may know the exact distance but It appears 300meters. Very close to the Rapid Fire stage of Highpower which is shot at 200 yds and 300yds.

Go to youtube and check out Camp Perry Rattle Battle. I believe its called the National Infantry Team Match, starts at 600yds, then progressess to the 200 at various differences. Funnest match I have ever shot.

Did you notice that the bolt guns almost always beat the self-shuckers? Years ago at the Pascagoula range we had a shooter from Norway or Sweden or some Scandanavian country shooting with us on a regular basis. He was working at the shipyard near there for one or two years. Anyway, he had a tricked out bolt gun (a Tikka) in 6.5X55MM and he consistently finished at or near the top every match -- shooting across the course -- American style.
