Successful dock with the ISS. Hatches open at 12:02. Crew is transferring now for their 100-200 day stay onboard ISS. Not even the slightest glitch thus far. Amazing trip.
I think one of the guys might have bumped his head on the movement from the Dragon/Endeavour to the ISS. The older of the two guys....if I had to guess, "Doug".
Just before the above picture was taken I was watching the live feed and he appeared to be wiping the upper right area of his forehead. Then he had a white wipe and was holding it in place there as if to stop the bleed.
At any rate, hope it is a minor scrape and they can prevent any in the future as the next launch should be in the August/September range.
I am proud to say that my son works at SpaceX, started as a summer intern his senior year of college and stayed on even without his Masters degree. Today he is over propulsion for the Falcon9 rocket! Of course, I was proud of him before yesterday! Go SpaceX!
Yea, banged his head sliding under the cockpit console on the way down to the hatch. Guess you’ve got to keep wicking it to keep it to yourself in space... hmmm.
