IIRC, if it's a 1994, it should be considered a Post Ban model - especially if it doesn't have a bayonet lug.

I think it is a preban. Before Clinton signed the ban Colt made these with the flash suppressor but no bayonet lug.

It is a preban. I have one just like it except mine has no block in the lower receiver. Colt began cowtowing to the antis before the Ban became law.

Yes it is pre ban and yes Colt was the first to roll over. Yes it has the pinned in block and can be removed if need be. This is apealing to some and to others the block means nothing. Gun just sits in my safe and doesn't get fired anymore. Half of me wants to sell it and the other half wants to keep it. I have to show an effort to my wife that I was trying to sell it to justify buying the new camera.
