I am a bit offended that you thought that I was looking for a "sucker" on this forum. I listed the gun here before I listed it on Texas Gun Trader.
Over the years I have sold numerous 1911's - selling this one was more difficult because it was such a custom weapon because of the RMR mounting. Generally when I sell a gun I list it high and every few days lower the price until it sells. I listed the gun in places that I have never listed before attempting to "get the word out".
When this gun was first listed in places like 10-8 Forums, Warrior Talk, 1911 Pro etc it started at well over $2000.00. A member of this forum saw my ad in one of the other places and recommended that I list it here - so I did. Later another member of this forum emailed me and recommended that I also list it at Texas Gun Trader - since I lived in Texas - so I did!
In any event the gun is Sold Pending Funds to a member of this forum and the individual who bought it got quite a bargain.
