There is a big difference between a discussion and a petty pissing match of people bickering back and forth.

Didn't He also create the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and yet He still commanded them not to eat from it...so I point that out to say - Just b/c something is in God's creation, doesn't necessarily mean we should eat/do it....Does weed fall into that category? Maybe....i haven't bothered to really contemplate it too much b/c I've never bothered with drugs.

Ive heard interesting theories that say many gods where involved and serpent was a higher god than the "Creator" that wanted man to have knowledge when the Creator didn't. Just a random piece of info.

I wouldn't necessarily call it following. It's more of a point A to point B journey and we all take different paths to get there.
