Springfield EMP or colt defender

anybody carry an emp or defender? Would like some feedback on either if you do, im considering a buying one, still on the fence. i currently carry a shield 9

I carry an emp when I need something easier to conceal than my glock. Also used it for a 2 day VATA pistol class. It has no problems with ball ammo, but is very picky on the type of hollow point you feed it. Winchester Ranger T series feed reliably for me. Once I figured out what ammo it liked, I have put 2000+ rounds through it without a problem and trust my life with it.

that platform isnt my thing, but the colt defender feels great in the hand, and shoots well. Reliability and function have been largely hit or miss with both guns though - you may want to do some more surfing. I can't say anything for springfield, but colt's customer service was top notch (I say was, because now they are bankrupt and on the market... so who knows)

I like my Springfield EMP a lot. Easy to conceal. never had a problem with it.
