Hello everyone. Was wondering how hard it is to replace the factory sights on an xdm with aftermarket tritium sights or maybe the laser sights. Can it be done by the average joe or would I need to take it to a gunsmith? Any advice you guys can give will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The back sight is a piece of cake the front sight almost requires for you to cut it out if you dont have a sight pusher, we tried the punch and hammer method and that was a waste of time

The front sight needs to be pressed in. For the cost, don't waste your time, have the gunsmith do it right the first time. It cost me $25.00 to have mine replaced and I supplied the sights.
