Overview
In an effort to increase Agriculture awareness within this community as well as the skills of our students, the St. Amant Agriscience program, FFA chapter and Alumni plan to construct a multi-purpose facility for animal care as well as other teaching opportunities. This will serve the community as well as the students in a variety of ways and will have a lasting impact on all who are involved. Students and community volunteers will be gain experience from the construction phase to the end phase which will be the continued upkeep of the animals housed and plants grown.
Deliverables:
1 Facility for housing and caring for small animals
Collaboration opportunities for students and community leaders
Gardening Beds for fruits and vegetables that will be sold and donated to the community.
Excellent Field trip opportunity for other schools as well as the public to learn where the food, shelter and clothing come from.
Increased Agriculture Literacy across the Community
