Four armed robbers forced employees of a St. Rose distribution company to load up a truck with prescription drugs early Saturday morning, according the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.

The robbers, dressed in black, obscured their faces as they forced the workers to load the 24- to 26-foot-long box truck, which they backed onto the loading dock of the company, located in the James Business Park, Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes said Monday. The drugs were packed in gray and red storage bins with blue tie wraps, he said.

One of the men was armed with an AK-47 assault rifle, and two others had handguns, Yoes said.

Most likely opioids, stimulants, and anti-anxiety meds. Probably others as well. when they get caught they are looking at a looooonng time in jail if they actually did fill that truck with that man presciption drugs.

This is how some hospitals get thier meds. The red bins most likely say "Cardinal Healthcare".

Does anyone know what business this was (If it was Owens/Minor?)

I am sure they will have off duty detail now, I work in the same office park, we never have problems, Fed Ex, TSA, other gov't agencies, and other hightened security vendors for gov't also are located in the business park, very interesting,
