steel case ammo storage

anybody have any problems with storing steel case ammo like 7.62x39 loose in metal ammo cans? i didn't know if it could cause it to have rust issues taking it out of the cardboard boxes in the long run.

I would throw a silica packet in there and as long as you don't open and close it much they should be airtight so you would be good. That's how I store my ammo.
