Steel Challenge BIG Change Up. New Weekend and Day!!!

Hello Steel Challenge Shooters.

As mostly of you know Steel Challenge has not been very popular in the past couple years here in South Louisiana, so I and a couple SC Shooters and of course the Palo Alto Rifle & Pistol Range Board of Directors had a big discussion recently about Steel Challenger and come up with a game plan that we hope would bring shooters back to Steel Challenge. We decide to look into switching which day and weekend we shoot Steel Challenge because of such a lack of participation over the past 2 years.

Looking at the schedule of different shooting clubs in the area to get an idea on which day and weekend would be to have Steel Challenge Match.
At this time the 4th SATURDAY of the month looked to be the best day to have a SC Match.
We are going to give this a try and see how thing go.

Our next Steel Challenge Match will be Jun 22 2024.

Doing that for May would have gotten me out there this month. Wasn't gonna mess with the Mother's Day Mafia trio of wife, mom, MIL I have over here.

Anyway, sounds good to me. Not that this should matter, but for a couple of us, doing this the 2nd Sat morning would allow us to shoot this match, then participate in the PRS 22 rifle practice after on the same day.

Otherwise, Sat or Sun doesn't matter much to me, and honestly, I'm more likely to hang around and shoot on my own after for a while on a Sat.
