What part of 'shall not be infringed' don't you understand?

If it was constitutional to carry a concealed weapon, how come people go to jail for carrying a concealed weapon when they don't have a permit. Your rights to owning a firearm are not infringed because you can't carry it concealed. It is against the law to carry concealed, but the legislature had granted that privilege to those that get a permit.

They might not have the authority, but they damn sure did it and people have been going to jail for a long time for carrying concealed. Looks like someone would have brought it to the supreme court.

Understood, but the line has to be drawn somewhere right? Are we comfy with bio weapons available at Wallywurld? How about anti-aircraft rockets?

While I find your line of thinking to be quite reasonable, on its face many anti-gunner statements sound reasonable until its not. Slippery slops either way.
