Out of all the guns that I own, one of my favorites is my Ruger 10/22. A few months back I decided that it
would be fun to own a suppressor, so I ordered one to fit my .22. It is my understanding that most .22 guns
can be threaded to use the can on. I've also heard that some guns come Pre-threaded to fit the can. I'd like to
add a .22 auto hand gun to my arsenal that I can use the suppressor on. I'm looking for suggestions on good
ones. I have a S&W .22 handgun that was lent to me. I love shooting it, it's just fun and would be even more
to shoot it without ears! There are several really awesome ones to choose from at the local stores, so let me know your thoughts!

Smith and Wesson M&P 22 has a threaded barrel but needs an adapter. Same goes for the Walther P22. I believe that Gemtech has adapters for both ( may be same adapter but I'm not sure.) Ruger also has threaded models too.

I currently have a MKIII that was threaded from the factory.

I've had the P22 and a Mosquito and they don't compare to the Ruger .22 autos.

I'd like to recommend the Browning Buck Mark. I've had my Nickel Buck Mark since 1996 and it's never failed me, not to mention the fact that it's a "tack driver".

So for some an extra piece (adapter) is needed?
The manufacturer that I'm purchasing the suppressor from offered to thread whatever guns I have to fit the can,
so I'm assuming that means I won't need adapters, but I've got zero
experience with suppressors so maybe I need both. I'm super excited, they have my application (?) on the fast track (?) or something, so I think I'm about 2 months from having it in my possession! I got to pick my serial number, which was a
    complete bonus in my opinion!
