Just ordered a 6" threaded barrel model for my MkIII 22/45. Anyone have any experience with installation? Tips? Thanks!

I can talk you through it when you get it. There are also a lot of good YouTube videos on stripping the receiver of the Ruger.

Man, I hope that's a new gun to you that you're having to ask how to take it apart. I have to take mine down every 300-400 shots at least for a good cleaning. You'll enjoy the Tac-Sol receiver/barrel. They're tack drivers!

Mine had a factory screw up, make sure the extractor notch on the liner matches the notch in the receiver, mine was 180 degrees out and wouldn't extract. Had to send it back twice, it wasn't till I took a pic of the screwup and emailed it to them before they got it right. Now it works perfect.
