    So what’s the consensus on the new grey. I remember that when H&K came out with the USC and SL8 in grey there was a collective moan. I’ve been in the market for a Springfield TRP and have been watching video reviews on them. Seemed like most of the guys are exploding with joy over grey.

    Well, as far as colors go, black is not really a natural color. So if you are going for a less conspicuous color, black is a poor choice. Grey, dk brown, and dark green are common natural colors, so they make more sense than black, if that is what you are trying to achieve with your gear.

    Also, there are alot of black handguns, so many people just want something different.

    I like grey and tan myself, mainly cause they are different...

    I will say I have a Gray glock 19. and though I like it, I don't love it. I prefer my black ones. But I would like to do one of my rifles in tungsten gray or some other dark gray.
