Taptalk issues

Anyone using taptalk have any issues with it showing the new threads when you open up BS? Mine seems to be sporadic, sometimes it shows them, sometimes it shows no new threads. I know there are new threads even when it shows there aren't any because I click the forums button and see them.

I was going to post about this tonight. It doesn't seem like Show New Posts is based on your IP or your device- I can pull up new posts from my pc and my iPhone (on 3G) within minutes of each other. Seems like it's more account based. I haven't checked if tapatalk uses push notifications, but if it is maybe BS.com is logging a hit on your acct when it checks?

I'm not sure. It seems to be isolated to this site, for the ones I use it for anyway. The other four sites are updated every time I check them. Maybe Spanky will see this and check it out.
