Taurus Factory Warranty Issues

I've read the woes of members who have sent guns off to the Taurus factory to never be seen again. Have they gotten better about this?

I've got a Judge that's having some timing/lockup issues, and needs to be sent back - but not before I atleast know they're doing their part in returning the guns...

I've had an issue about two or three years ago. Three week turn-around and I thought that was good. That was a different time though, I would call them. You have to call to get a return authorization anyway don't you?

In 2010 I got my Beretta clone back in 2 weeks. The only problem I had was that they didn't notify me it was being shipped back.

I sent a small revolver back in January (I think...) and got it back in about 2-3 weeks. I thought that was pretty good.

my dad cracked the frame(polymer) of his 709(slim 9). he sent it in in feb.

they just notified him his NEW gun is en-route.

Yeah they do. Two points. I only remembered that Taurus was South American and didn't remember that it was Brazilian based company. But isn't Taurus USA based out of Miami which is in south Florida or as it is now known North Cuba? That's actually what I thinking when I said to speak in Spanish.
