I filed my form 1 online and finally got an email back that I was approved! My question is... where is my tax stamp, does that come later and if so does it come in the mail? Any help would be great...thanks

Haven't gotten one yet, but if I remember hearing right you don't get a physical stamp with e-file, it's in the email.

Go to your online atf.gov account.
It is attached to your application which will be in a new folder titled "Approved."
Copy it to your hard drive and you can retain the electronic copy as well as print it out for your records.
Many times they do not attach a copy to the email they send you

Man 6 months, that's rough. I'm sitting at 4 months now on my form 1 and little over a month on a few suppressors. I'd imagine the suppressors will be over a year since i got mine in right before the changes. What sucks is the dealer to dealer transfer are even taking 3+ months now so the whole process will take a year and half for us regular Joe's.

The day the changes were announced I filed for three.
Got them all back right at three months.
Them days are over for now.
    Unless the Dems win.
Then they're over for good I'd imagine.

The last couple Form 1s I did came in right at the five month mark. The F1 I put in less than 48-hours before 41F was implemented, eh, I suspect is going to take a tad longer. ;)

It reminds me of another long NFA wait. Around the time the Mrs and I were trying for our last kiddo, I had suppressor take about at the nine month mark to get approved. The running joke for a while was "what can happen quicker, reproduction or an NFA approval?". :mamoru:

I'm at about a month for some cans but I did a form 1 a week before the change and the day of the change I got a email dis approving me. I tried to register a lower from spikes and I did not put "jack"before the number on the SN. I just put the numbers...the line above on the form had "the jack" for the model. Suxs...now I get to try out the new way
