My house when I can afford them!!!! When I don't feel like boiling them, I always go to Crawfish Time on Ridge Rd in Lafayette or Dwights on Johnston.

I know it's not in that area, but if you haven't had the country corner crawfish, you're missing out in baton rouge. I've had all the restaurant and local eateries in BR and the craw at country corner is still my favorite. They're both a little hot and a little spicy. Just perfect for me

Have you even been to a crawfish boil?

Only if I had to. I don't care for boiled crawfish. Etouffe, fine. I'd rather boiled shrimp.

I fished for them on some private property below Sorrento and enjoyed it, but by the time I brought them home, purged them, etc, I didn't want to have anything to do with them.

I like them any way but boiled. Lafitte's Landing had soft-shelled crawdads a while back and I loved what John was doing with them.

I lived in the BR area for 44y but never developed the taste for some things.

You remind me of a friend of mine who claims to not like crawfish as well. But he'll eat some of the leftovers (destined for étouffe) after people have peeled them. He just can't be bothered with putting in the work to peel the shell off, lol.

I guess a bonus of living out of state is the only availability is that of frozen crawfish that are already peeled cater to your preferred crawfish dishes.
