We all know when someone hordes goods or services it makes everyone poor. This is the reason behind Proudhon coining the term "Property is theft." The purposed fix for this issue is a gift economy. It's a practice that's as old as Hunter Gatherer societies where sharing is an egalitarian safeguard against failure of any individual's daily foraging. In order to strengthen the collective, policies like welfare have been a must. Taking it beyond welfare with universal health-care will be another step forward.
The ultimate goal should be to give all goods and services away freely so everyone can benefit, therefore ultimately strengthening the collective. We can do away with barbaric practices such as trade, and ultimately individualism all together. More importantly we can do away with the impoverished all together, finally making everyone equal.
Ancient times proved Socialism and it's gift economy works.
