Well I figure since many of us are on the class 3 train to fun. I figure we get a time line tread going.

Here is mine......for a Sparrow .22 Suppressor using a Trust.

    Meet up with TDH 5-31-2011

Around the 06-15 to 20 2011 I got state ok

Mouthpiece had Trust all done 6-22-2011

All paperwork sent off to TDH 06-25-2011

Paperwork on its way to ATF on Right around end of June.

    Playing the waiting game.....

    Check Cashed 07-11-2011

    Pending 07-19-2011

    Approved by ATF on 11-21-2011

    Examiner Sarah Jones.

Just found out my m42k stamp came in this week! Sparrow and m42k went pending around the same day. So I'm anticipating the sparrow stamp any day!

So it seems. I can't remember exactly when the paper work got mailed, but they went pending within days of each other. Come on sparrow!! Haha

Picked up my m4 2k today. I <3 TDH! Lol

In all seriousness, the gun looks sinister with the can thrown on. Also, the stamp was dated July 5th. So April 11th to July 5th for that one. The sparrow went pending 3 days before, and as of last week was still pending.

I was wrong. The question number is also the status number:

    http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/national-firearms-act-processing-times.html

Currently, ATF’s customer service goal is to process an Application to Make and Register a Firearm (Form 1) and an Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of a Firearm (Form 4) within 4 months of ATF’s receipt of the application. The customer service standard for processing all other types of NFA applications (i.e., those which don’t generally require tax processing or background checks) is within one month of ATF’s receipt of the application. It is important to keep in mind that incomplete or incorrect applications slow ATF’s ability to take final action. If you wish to confirm receipt of an application by ATF or obtain a status check on a pending application, you should call the NFA Branch at 304-616-4500. It will help the NFA Branch locate your application more quickly if you have the serial number of the firearm sought for transfer and the name of the prospective transferee.
I still would not bother them after two weeks, though. It takes 4 months min. I'd wait at least that long.
