Each survived on two tablespoons of tuna fish, one cracker, and one cup of milk every 48 hours for ~ 20 days.
    Epic diet.
Pedobear would have had those miners out in a matter of hours.

    Tell me about it.

I watched the first one come out and stayed up until around 0330 when Jules made me go to bed.

I know what I went thru and I must say that I have mad props for them! But, there is one thing we share and that's the feeling of LAND and being out in the open. Yes, I know I was not trapped down in a cave; but, that night when we got to Fourchon, just the feeling of being on land and out in the open again where I could just walk around where I wanted to was indescribable.

Let's just pray that they ALL come home!!!! 13 down, 20 more to go!

I guess the diet was to make them shrink for the small cage/hole???
Glad it's almost over for them, I'm sure this was harder than we can ever imagine.
    LOL @ Pedobear.

Initially that is all they had until they were found and they drilled a hole to pass food down to them. I know they were saying one guy had a birthday while down there and since they couldn't get a cake to him they send down cupcakes for everyone.

I heard that two guys were kinda big to fit in the rescue cage but after 69 days down there Im sure that was no longer an issue.
