I wouldn't be surprised if they do. The TM26 is more of a flood light, than a focused beam.

There's a video on YouTube of a guy with a TM36 lighting up a rock pile 500 yards away! The Nitecore lights even have a temperature gauge built in so you don't overheat the lights!

The TM36 is such a BAMF, it comes with a sling and a $300+ price tag(I still want one)

Let me blow all your minds...

UC-M21, as featured in 1990's Academy Award Winner for Best Movie Ever, Robocop 2.

Designed by Dave Boatman, based on the ARES FMG

The FMG was designed in 1984 by Francis J. Warin for Eugene Stoner's company ARES Inc. (US Patent 4625621, filed April 2, 1984) Warin designed the FMG as a PDW for high-ranking politicians and wealthy businessmen in kidnapping prone nations.
While the two weapons are internally the same, the UC-M21 features an improved exterior and the addition of sling swivels.

Edit to add: This article (http://www.guns.com/2013/02/08/foldable-submachine-guns/) states that the design harks back to the 1970s. I can't attest to the reliability of any of these statements, but it's a pretty cool gun disguised as a radio... sort of.

Edit to add, again: Wow the rabbit hole goes deeper. You can actually still buy these... http://www.fullautoclassics.com/index.html (Website has music)

A TM will step down to avoid overheating. And yes a 36 will do some ocular incineration:

I was playing with it during the 4th of July fireworks on the mississippi, I could put an equally bright spot on the bridge as the BRPD chopper, just a smaller area. Don't let the lower lumen output sway you, it will outperform a TM26 hands down except at distances less than 50'. There's something to be said for having actual optics.
