I've always wanted a golden boy in 22lr or 17hmr. I'm curious if anyone has attempted to have one of these threaded for a suppressor? How did it work out?

The 22LR I have done before and even cut a octagon thread protector to match, the 17hmr load tube comes to the muzzle so you have to shorten the feed tube and the housing. Total pain but both can be done.

Threading an octagon barrel is not a huge problem for a good "smith" however with most tube fed rifles the tube must be shortened, app.the length of one .22LR cartridge. I am sure "Big Jake" on this site can take care of you or James at Hebert's Guns. Good luck!
