    Yes.

But they have an inherent lazy gene in their DNA and they will NEVER do any real work, not even for themself.

While I am not the most upstanding example, I beg to differ Jim. Not ALL of us are the above, but the sad, codependent, dysfunctional, and entitlement-attitude driven are the majority.

So, When does the program start. his 3.5 days sounds like a reasonable vacation from my normal citydriven B/S life right now. Wonder how the rest of my generation would hang?

I don't think 3.5 days would be enough to get that lesson through to the people who need it. Perhaps a lump sum of the first 50 years worth of 3.5 days would be needed. Anyone can survive by bitching for 3.5 days and not doing a damn thing, but 6 months. You either work, and learn how hard it is to survive off the land, or you starve and die. Either way the problem is solved.

I like his idea. BTW : for those who don't know, the less productive generation idea began to take shape with LBJ's poor people program in the mid 60's . It sort of got derailed with the Vietnam war . However Jimmy Carter brought it to fruition in the late 70's . So here we are with a bunch of give-me everything mentally .

Been there, done that. Dad and I called it "a vacation!" Only difference is that we used a tent or just slept on the ground under the truck bed weather permitting.
