Just wanted to share my experience with Mr. Welch.

I horribly over torqued an action screw on my rifle. The day after I dropped it off to Jake he already had the work done. Which from what I understand was no easy task. He was nice enough to take the time to show me the proper procedure so that I don't repeat my mistake. He is honorable and professional. He's a heck of a nice guy to bs with and, more than reasonable with his fee. I'm glad to have met a gunsmith who I can trust with my babies. So, I you're in the BR area give bigjakewelch a holler and he'll get you fixed up tout de suite!

Good for you for remembering that. That is a excellent reason to keep a person and his business in mind. I am sure that his generosity in that episode lends itself to be self evident in his own dealings.
