    I had a big crush on E.T. in the mid or late 50's from the television series National Velvet . Little did I know that show was from the early 40's and we didn't have TV until the mid fifties . Took that long to make it to us in Amite,La. :bigok:

    Then there was Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and THAT SLIP. Considered risque at the time.

    TV didn't come to Shreveport until about 1953 but then we were behind everyone.
