It uses grease gun magazines.

The one I worked with took Thompson mags, I know this because I used the ones from my Thopmson.

CTD, or SG had tommy gun parts kits for sale at one time not long ago. Don't know if the original stocks will fit a cheap Volunteer remake though.

Just from looking at it it does/or is close to taking a Thompson Butstock.

See if it functions then if I can't get a Thompson butstock for you to try I can probably borrow one to see if it works.

No, it's over 26 inches.

CT: Rifles cannot become pistols, (Legally) although pistols can be converted to rifles and back again.

looks like in the 1st picture (of the 1st post) That it is wearing an original Thompson buttstock.

It did fire and eject couldnt get it to accept a loaded mag, Ive read they have to be altered so I will order some mags and a stock and be in business.
