    Anybody into traditional “old timey” knives? I think I’m about to take the plunge. Let me see some pics of your GEC or custom slipjoints/lockbacks

    CRK, IMPINDA not really old timey but i don't think you will find a better slip joint. IMO
    its on my list, handled one, very slick feeling in the hand, smooth edges

    i carry the small Inkosi, and still have my retired Sebenza from the 90s

    GEC #36 in cocobolo was part of my carry for a couple years.

    And seeing as how we are here in Louisiana I had to have a GEC 88 too. I eventually got tired of slippies and went back to modern folders but it was fun.

    GEC makes some pretty good knives. I prefer the larger models like the 98. Unfortunately it might not be made again.

    That's a smaller wharnecliffe trapper that's pretty nice too. I also highly recommend the case /bose collaboration if you want a more modern traditional. Fit and finish is great but prices are high.
