Traveling to Tx with firearm

I go to Houston regularly, and I keep a little .32 auto in a bottom compartment of my console. I keep the clip loaded with 7, but the chamber is empty.

Being under 21, will I run into any problems with the law in Tx if I happened to get pulled over? Don't other states usually honor our vehicle firearm laws?

I'm just wanting to make sure I don't have to spend a late night with Tyrone the crack addict if you know what I mean...

Vehicle carrry is legal in TX. In the past their law was ambigious, but they just cleared it up this year. No, other States do not honor Louisiana laws.
