I have been from the start but in stealth mode I think the Russians are too.
Well it's already trespassing for them to be there without your or that company's permission.
When the guys killed the deer at my house a week or two later the Game Warden called me and met me and handed me $500 for turning them in. I wish they would come shoot another one for that price
It's hard to legally hunt in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Wait, You get paid to turn in outlaws?

Sounds like a good retirement plan
Well, yeah. But other people chimed in too.

GATOR The Bounty Hunter. Look out Dog!
No, please don't -- unless it was aggressive. Dogs can't "trespass" as they do not understand property rights. Shooting an animal for simply being on your land without posing a threat would definitely be unlawful; it would not be jail time but it would be a fineable offense.
Man, If the state is paying CASH then i'm in like Flynn!!!!!!!!!!
The dog hunters can legally trespass onto ANYONES property to retrieve a stray hunting dog as long as they carry no weapons with them. Any harm done to a dog that may have strayed onto private property may be subject to a stiff fine AND civil restitution may be in order. It may be a $10,000 dollar coon dog.
Hey I love this thread. Y'all keep it on track. I am easily amused. One if the best threads since the fence drama.
.........add constantine wire on top
Well there's you answer Gator, put up a 8' wooden fence, and add constantine wire on top
The laws regarding hunting will never cease to amaze me...
Some random dog roams onto my property and starts barking and advancing towards me, so I shoot it.
Then, some half arsed "hunter" who can't "hunt" by himself (needs a dog to help) takes me to court over his "10,000 dollar super pooch"
Yeah, I am in the right, but now I am in court and I have to listen to a bunch of tripe about his "property" and the "costs to replace" and BS like that. Then I would have to point out that he may have overpaid and that there is no way i would let something with legs that i paid 10k for out of my sight for even 1 second.... Let along have it running wild through the woods...
Personally I do not agree to running dogs on open land... At bare minimum the law should place the dog owners "on their own" if anything happens to them or the dogs while in the act. And other laws should be a lot harsher to these hunters if their dogs are involved with innocent bystanders during this exercise.
I guess we are back to interpretation of what constitutes a good shot on a dog. Absolutely, if a dog is coming at you in a aggressive matter and you fear bodily harm you are allowed to shoot it. But if a dog is just passing through and barking does not constitute a good shot.....Laws are on the books, until they change we must abide.
I guess every action has a reaction, but it must be within reason. If a 4-year old runs up and punches you in the groin, do you turn around and cock kick the toddler?
Would LDWF charge them with trespassing or what? What charges fall under their scope?Update # 47 lol, LDWF agent called and set up a meeting for Friday after he reviews the pictures of said Dip S. and son hunting expeditions.
Pretty sure he can bust them for the shotgun,That's a no brain-er
