If we do anything, we are imperialist just looking for something else to conquer, but if we do nothing, we are selfish bastards who don't care about the rest of the world.

    It's lose/lose either way.

The Obama administration is seeking a U.N. Security Council resolution that would authorize a wide range of possible military strikes against the forces of Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi, aimed at preventing them from overrunning rebels and civilians in the country's east, officials said.

BAAAAD idea IMO. This could ignite a powder keg that, with the economic state of our country the way it is, we would not near be ready for.

I would rather be called a selfish bastard and not see more money that we don't have spent on yet another foreign entanglement.

Besides, is anybody still dumb enough to believe we intervene in Middle Eastern politics for "humanitarian reasons".

    Ditto.
The good thing about all this is the libtards will turn on ol' pencilneck worse than they turn on their newborn when they discover he pees standing up.

Qaddafi remembers what happened to Sadam. He might be a lunatic, but he's not ready to die just yet.

He can negotiate his way out where he gets to keep some of the billions of dollars he's stolen from his people over the years, and not wear a rope for a necktie.

If you'll remember back in the 80's when he got lippy with Reagan and Reagan sent some cruise missiles to downtown Tripoli, Qaddafi changed his tune considerably.

He's a lunatic and a despot, but he's not stupid and can see the writing on the wall.

More importantly, WHO ARE THESE REBELS????

    Enjoy.

naw dude, you got it wrong. Reagan had some balls. He sent PLANES <F-111> with PILOTS to drop precision bombs on their ASSetS. Clinton started that "cruise missile or two will fix anything" bull-oney.

I also remember when the US sent a bunch of F-111's to Lybia....they flew out of england....the french denied overflight of the strike package. Darnedest thing happened in Tripoli....one of the laser guided precision bombs fell short....onto the french embassy.

Say what you will, but Reagan had class.

    It's again about stealing oil...

Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, ChevronTexaco, ENI, Total-Fina-Elf versus China's Nat'l Petroleum Corporation. NATO sought to add 33 African nations last month to a military alliance.

All of you familiar with biblical prophecy, can you still not see? Who is the beast forming a GLOBAL military to conquer? No one likes being associated with being a "bad guy" but damn it's blatantly obvious. This is what happens when you low others to rule you. Stop watching TV sports and get your heads in the game - lest you lose it...
