Someone told me not all guns shoot underwater. But anything with a metal casing should shoot underwater right? What guns dont shoot underwater if any besides a black powder?

If I memory serves, I believe Mythbusters tried a 12 gauge underwater and the back pressure from the water inside the barrel caused a catastophic barrel fail. I could be wrong though....who has a pool around here....I'll bring some beer.

Sounds logical, longer barrel would/could/should not do so well under water.
