Pretty sweet. That would get the light out further over my can when hunting hogs with the Mk18, which would mean less shadow/more light.

Might have to put that on my short list.

Would the rear sight have to elevated so it would be on the same height as the front?

There is no change in the elevation of the front site. It sits normaly on the top rail. The Monkey Bar attaches to the tension screw of the sight.
