Yeah, and you can forget that pesky first amendment too if it doesn’t mesh with what the left has to say. If anyone is wondering what will happen with an overpacked Supreme Court....it’ll be whatever they want to happen.

As I understand it, previous Supreme Court decisions (Heller, McDonald) were on cases that were set in the home and so the language of the majority opinion was crafted to address that setting while settling that the right was an individual right and not reserved to militia activity...a victory even if limited by the context of the cases. I've heard arguments that because the setting of those cases was not outside the home that the application of those decisions did not extend to the public square. If a public square case (such as this one) is brought then let's hope the makeup of the Court is not hijacked and that the Court is favorable to rendering an opinion as important as Heller was but now settling the question of this individual right in the public square.

Trump put some good judges on the USSC. That will be the best and most important part of his legacy. We will win at the top.

Past cases refuted the argument that: 1) The 2A only applies to official militia, and therefor 2) The 2A is not an individual right. Those cases therefore provide a current legal basis for the argument that the 2A is an individual right and secures the individual's right to self defense (and by extension against tyranny). However, because those cases were about events that occurred at home, the leftist devil liars that want to make the individual as vulnerable as possible are now trying to argue that the individual's rights do not exist in the public square (both 2A and 1A). That is the battle we are in right now...defending our rights as extending to the public square and not just a private right at home. We need the US Supreme Court to take up this case and shut down that attempt to silence and disarm the american citizen...the court may not have taken the action that many hoped for in the past, but the current makeup of the court is certainly improved since Kennedy's retirement. It would have been great to replace Breyer, too. We, the people, need to get our elections in order and take back both chambers of Congress in 2022.
