    Dad was at Coffey Barracks, along with a few others in Germany.

    Most people don’t know about Army Camp Merrill, in Dahlonega, GA.
    As said above, Ft Mac is gone, probably because of the water, along with Sherman, and I will always call them Bragg, Benning & Polk.

    Just because some of the "WOKE" people complaining about the names of some of the military bases ( 11 different bases at the present time) names were offensive for some reason that they want to rewrite the history books..... And the removal of memorial statues around the country to even include one inside Arlington National Cemetary...... If you do not recognize and follow history then you are subject to repeat the things that you are now trying erase......... drill sgt.
