we joked about the same thing kinda, we had spilled some corn in the camp yard at the deer lease (sacking from a super sack). Well my friend's Lab ate most of it. Two days later we went down to a little hole on us that holds ducks and the dog evacuated his bowels laving corn everywhere lolHmm, I wonder if you ate lots of corn and then had to do #2 in the woods if it would be considered baiting.
Title 76, Part XIX
§111. General and Wildlife Management Area Hunting Rules and Regulations
G. Wildlife Management Area Regulations
5. Methods of Taking Game
c. Baiting or hunting over bait is prohibited on all
WMAs (hogs included). Unmarked hogs may be taken on
some WMAs by properly licensed hunters from the
beginning of archery season on the area until February 28
and only with guns/ammunition or bow and arrow legal for
specified seasons in progress. Consult the specific WMA for
additional information. Proper licenses and permits are
required for hunting. Hogs may not be taken with the aid of
dogs.
I guess it depends on the broad definition of the words "baiting" and "bait".
You'll probably have to call the game wardens to see how they interpret the regulation.
