Vote against Romney Saturday Mar 24th

First I view the voting of all candidates in any party as a vote for the lesser of two evils. Clone Charlton Heston and Ronald Reagan into one person and I might be happy. But due to our delegate situation in this primary Romney will walk away with some delegates if the polling is correct and it's a one two of Santorum and Romney http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2012/03/22/how_much_can_a_louisiana_win_do_for_santorum_ehhhh_.html. We need to give our votes to Santorum, Newt or Paul. Romney needs to walk away from here with NOTHING in 3rd or 4th place. Google will show you that Romney is far from a pro gun candidate which should be important to everyone on here. I hope others feel this way too.

To me my version reads:
Romney is rich POS "yes" man while he is liberal hiding as conservative - didn't want him 4 yrs ago don't want him now.
Santorum steps into the social issues too much but I like some of his ideas and he appears to have some semblance of common sense and values
Newt is a shrewd debator who would tear Obama apart with in our face rebuttals and one liners but too much of an established politician with tons of baggage
Paul has the best ideas but his view on foreign policy particularily Iran is "no go" for me.

Although I am not an evangelical, Santorum gets the lesser of evils vote from me as Newt and Paul are too far behind.

Unfortunately, we've been put in a position in which we have to vote against Obama. Splitting votes and bashing up the most likely candidate is only going to save the Obama campaign a lot of time and money.

Too much emphasis is placed on a President. Congress is the real problem. IF over the years they would have done thier job many Presidents in the last century as well as supreme Court Justices would have been impeached. That would have included Reagan, Bush 1 & 2, Clinton FDR, LBJ, Truman, Wilson and old Teddy. They all performed unconstitutional actions that caused many people to die and have wasted the treasure of this nation. If Congress had been doing its job many of these guys would not have been the scumbags that they were as they would have been held in check.

The only one they ran off was Nixon and he quit!

The media is behind Santorum and Newt. That should tell you who not to vote for. Ron Paul is ignored by the media that should have told everyone who to vote for. Romney while he has done some nutty things it was as a Governor and under our form of government what a Governor can do is vastly different than what a President can and should do.

It is the understanding of the job that makes the difference. Romney has continually stated that the health care issue is a State issue not a Federal one. That is absolutely true. As far as gun issues if you read the Bill of Rights especially the Preamble it is clear that it referenced Congress not the States. Each State has it's own Constitution most follow the US one but each is different. It was the illegially passed 14th Amendment that forced US citizenship on everyone which is such an open ended Amendment that couldn't pass today.

The person to vote for is the one that has the best understanding of the job. Gingrich and Santorum both are Washington representatives. Ron Paul has fought Washington rule. Romney is a State and business executive.

If being rich and successful is a disqualifier then you better run all of them off.

Way out there, but true! This is one (a very fringe one), example of why a Conservative who is too heavy on religion, is never going to get in. When I see a political candidate start openly preaching about morals; my ear canals close and I hear nothing else from him, no matter what his politics are.

Obarry will slide in just like he did against McCain. Santorum is a big government religious zealot who spent with the party and voted against the right to work. Newt can't keep it in his pants and wants to fundamentally remake America anyway. Romney is a liberal. Paul simply doesn't want to bomb people and for that, he's unelectable. He does every bit as well with independents as anyone else and has a philosophy that destroys everyone that goes against him.



I simply refuse to be frightened into voting for another McCain. I'm done with that. There is absolutely no difference between a conservative that is going to take away my rights by continuing the Patriot Act and a progressive who is going to take away my rights by continuing the Patriot Act.

What do we get out of this? the oilfield opened back up? My life depends on oil just like many here, but without rights, fiscal sanity and a strong leash on government (which no one but Paul will provide) it won't matter anyway. While we're busy being scared into voting because Barry is an idiot, corporations are still sucking the taxpayer tit, politicians are enriching themselves and further expanding their power, and they're all bankrupting us. The TEA party congress has been an absolute joke. From the moment they re-authorized the patriot act under Obama, I knew it was over.

Now Freedomworks, the best republicans money can buy, endorses Romney...the biggest flip flopper liberal in the race. ..but I guess he's got an R by his name so it's okay.
