I don't know what "swing" on a lathe is , but it's about 6ft in the middle . it works good enough for what we've been doing , threading barrels and whatnot .

The swing would be the distance from the center of the chuck to the ways or rails that the compound slides back and forth on. That distance will then be multiplied by 2 for the max o.d. of what you could "swing" unless otherwise regulated by the manufacturer depending on chuck size.

I'll have to check with Derf , who I bought it from for $1200.00 , but I'm pretty sure it's duel voltage , can be wired 110 .
