Walther P-22 ... front sight... gone!

My Walther P-22 has been a great little pistol, but yesterday after firing about 50 rounds I drew down on the target and ... no front sight!
Maybe it popped off when I drew from the Fobus holster? Maybe it just fell off?
It is plastic and seems to be just pushed in. Not the typical Walther quality I'm used to.
Did a search and found that it happened to a few others.
Emailed Walther.
Awaiting their reply.

Was at the camp last week and drew out my single six to shoot a snake and my rear sight was broke in half. No idea how it happened. Lucky snake because I missed of course.

I had the same thing happen. I called and they sent me replacements at no charge. Check your box you may have extras that came with the gun
