A movie in Baton Rouge is looking to rent a Smith & Wesson .357 magnum. Something with a mid length barrel. It will be watched over by the props master. He is well trained in gun safety and I have rented some of my weapons to him in the past. I don't know the rate but it will probably be something like $50/day and they will just need it for a day or two probably. If you are interested you will need to send me a picture then take it over to their production offices to show the director. The offices are by the Baton Rouge airport.

Thanks to everyone that emailed me. Looks like they have a few to choose from now. I will make more posts like this in the future since everyone seems so willing to help.

I wonder what the slant for/against firearms will be in the movie???

I read the script. It's all pro firearm police crime stuff. The director is a gun nut and CCW guy. His other movies have pretty decent gun handling. His name is Brian Miller if you want to look up his other movies on imdb.

If not a Colt Python, what about a Mateba .357? Any idea, how many days the pistol would be used? It has to be worth my pistols time and effort! Are they insured for full replacement cost?
