Took a ride down to Mary Plantation in Plaquemines Parish. It's a bit below Braithwaite. Had some extra time to kill when I got there, so I drove all the way down to Davant. Beautiful part of the state down there. Tons of old houses and old ruins. And it seems like almost every property owner grows his own citrus trees.
Harlem Plantation is in between Phoenix and Davant. I would not want to be in this thing at night. It was spooky enough being next to it during the daylight. It was freakishly cold just in that area.
