Title says it all, Steel Challenge match at Southern Shooting Center in Thib. on Saturday. They will also be hosting a GSSF (Glock only match). A Glock rep/armorer will be there if you need anything for your glock.
Sunday River parish Practical Shooters will hold their monthly match at the St. James S/O range in Vacherie.
A word to any novice shooters out there: You do not need any high tech equipment to compete. A basic holster and a couple of mags/speedloaders and holders and a desire to have some fun and maybe learn a thing or two in the process.
For the Steel Challenge match you can use .22 rimfire if you don't have a centerfire pistol.
If nothing else come out and see what your missing
It's some of the most fun you can have with a firearm (with your clothes on).
