Westboro "church" going to protest Slidell Marine funeral

This is true. I bet the don't show up, they were suppose to come to several in the BR area that we escorted but never showed.

If they show; that's exactly what they want someone to do. It's been discussed here before, but some of them are lawyers. They fund this stupidity from lawsuits. The lawsuits come against those that try to deprive them their Constitutional Right to do this. And, if they are harmed; they sue the town for not protecting them.

Basically the same thing when some one is wronfully arrested for carrying a legal firearm.

Well I have seen them basically just form a wall around the funeral so none of the outside distractions get through. They dont actually do anything illegal themselves or cause a scene.

I have read about a riot control measure that basically just takes in the sound of the speaker, delays it, and replays it louder. It tricks the speaker's brain and shuts down the speech. Doesn't work if they have a electronic speaker.

Westboro Baptist "Church" is a bunch of sickos. I never really heard of them, but stumbled upon their name while looking at the White House dot Gov website...I was checking out the gun control petitions.
In any case, there must be 5 or 6 petitions to somehow get their tax free status revoked among other things. There are over 200k signatures already.
