My friends just bought a new place on North Beach-- supposed to be pretty swank. In any event, it'll be a blast-- the group that's going could have fun in the middle of the desert, so Miami Beach is a no brainer.

I'll probably go out and buy a bottle of sangria tomorrow morning, stock the larder and fridge to last until Monday, pick up a few fireworks for the kids and on Saturday night we'll cozy up in blankets while Spec does the honors.

Last year I went to a friend's house, had a blast. That was the first year I'd bothered staying up past 11pm.
Might go there again, but some of the group are talking about hitting up a bar and that is not my scene. I'll be just
