Can someone please tell me what is up with this ammo shortage? It's as if all of the ammo companies announced that they are going to close their doors forever.

Greed and selfishness, the ones that kill me are the one's that buy all there is a certain stores then go to the gun show and profit. This panic buying is ridiculous people should have been prepared before the pied piper got elected in 08.

So, current events put guns in the spot light. Obama talks about an AWB. Derps start derping and derpduce that the presidency is actually a derptatorship. They derpcide that Obama can ban everything under the sun via executive order. They make this assumption because derps are staunch derpfenders of the constitution, but have no clue how our government actually works. The derps "realize" these items will be banned, so they log onto gunbroker, PSA, botach, etc. and buy all the online gun stuff. Once that runs out, they sprint to academy buy everything they can, and store it in their airstream trailers. By then the derping is so out of control their derp panic buying has created a real shortage of goods. The shortage of goods further inflates prices, which only adds fuel to the derp fire. Simply put, derps derped civics, so they went all derp at academy, they drove the prices up, and now derps are complaining that derps cant afford bullets.

I HATE PRICE GOUGERS, BAYOUSHOOTER SHOULD MANDATE PRICING ON ITEMS AND BAN PEOPLE WHO ARE CHARGING TOO MUCH, OH AND I HATE THAT SOCIALIST PRESIDENT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a sad state of events. I hope I'm right when I say it will be funny to see people try to sell their overpriced AR's in the future. But I paid $3,000 a year for it used. Sorry buddy they are now selling new for $1,000. The moron prices have gone away.

I'm just hoping that there will be a flood of supply after all the panic/demand dies down and the prices come down a bit. I'm saving my money in the hopes of that happening.

Sure glad i made a move on reloading supply's 8 month's ago for the .223...Price's will come down one day.

I will only be shooting 9mm, .45 and 22lr for the foreseeable future. I just can't imagine taking a $1 a shot. I have plenty of .22lr and can make 9mm and .45 for $50-$100 per 1,000 rounds depending on what I am loading. Might get a .224 mold set for my casting machine if prices don't come down and get set up to load .223.
