    Does the company owner know about this? If not, you may have a chance to make this right by going through him/her. If they do know about it, you have found out a lot about the level (lack) of integrity of the ownership. If that is the case, look for another job.

    Oh yes, it was owners call not to get the certification.

    Owner has a "untouchable" complex. I have recently left this company, at my own fruition, due in part because of this attitude. owner does things that I never quite understood. Such as things like insurance. There were a total of ten employees when I left and 5 of them had health insurance offered by the company. I was told that insurance was just for managers. Well of course it is perfectly normal for a company with less than a dozen employees to have 5 managers, right? I found out later that one of the "shop" employees also had insurance. That kind of pissed me off! than there was sick time. Some people got it others did not. Does any of this make sense?
